On our web site or in the app, set up your facility and try things out for free. Once you decide to use Safely Stow, invite parents, who will be prompted to subscribe when they add a child. If you want to pay as a facility, you can instead choose a facility plan, and parents will be able to use the app for free with your facility.
You can use Safely Stow for free as a facility, without having to pay anything, ever. Parents will pay a small $12 per year subscription fee.
GRANDPARENTS WILL LOVE IT
We know that grandparents frequently pick up their grandchildren on behalf of their children. So we designed Safely Stow with these generally less-tech enthusiastic users in mind.
In order for contactless check-in to work, you need all the users to use the software. Safely Stow is so easy that universal user adoption is realistic.
If a grandparent has a smart phone, they can use Safely Stow. So easy that grandparents will love it.
HOW MUCH DOES SAFELY STOW COST?
We keep saying that Safely Stow is free, and that probably sounds too good to be true. But it’s not! Safely Stow is really free for facilities. The default plan is for parents to pay a $12 per year subscription when they add their first child to your facility.
You can, however, pay for all of your parents with a facility subscription if that is what you prefer. Our plans are listed in detail below.
PARENT PLAN
The default plan is free for youth activity providers. When parents create their first child record, they will be prompted to subscribe for $12 per year.
SMALL FACILITIES
For facilities with up to 40 children. You can subscribe on Android or Apple App Stores for $14.99 per month.
MEDIUM FACILITIES
For facilities with up to 100 children. You can subscribe on Android or Apple App Stores for $34.99 per month.
LARGE FACILITIES
For facilities with up to 200 children. You can subscribe on Android or Apple App Stores for $69.99 per month.
METERED PLAN
Sign up in your browser, and you have the option of paying by child! We’ll bill your account each month at 25 cents per child in your database.

The Safely Stow philosophy is that child records belong to parents. They determine people who are authorized to pick up and check in and check out their kids. For this reason, and because set up is so much more simple when parents add their own child records, it's usually best for parents to populate your database for you!
Every facility has the option to create and activate a check in window. You might want to make announcements, ask a health questionnaire or remind parents of policies. For Symptom and Health Sign Offs, we suggest consulting https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/guidance-for-childcare.html for government suggestions.
What we call programs can also be considered classes, classrooms or anything you like. Think of programs in two ways: first, the program a child is being checked into by the parent. Second, the list of programs and rosters that you create. A facility can add children to a roster for each program. Then during the day, they can view this filtered roster. In this way you can view all children enrolled in a class, regardless of what mistaken programs a parent might use!
In order for a parent to connect to and add another user to their child as a pick up user, first they should friend that person. They can do that in the friends window or by adding a pick up user on their child's record. Once connected, they can assign them as a pick up any time.
Yes, absolutely. The only user that can't be removed is the record owner. In that case, the child record should just be deleted.
No, the system is for you and your purposes. Each night, every record's check in status is reset to "none." Your end of day process is completely up to you.
